When we turn our back on our lives and take up his cross to follow him, we are coming into agreement with His resurrection power. This agreement is a radical transformation in how we think. The mind of Christ can be taken hold of, but you must release the right to think how you want and you must release the right to your own opinions.
The mind of Christ does not come with a human rationale but comes with God’s ways and rationale, his perspective, and His mindset. This mindset is governed by the Spirit and leads us in paths of righteousness for his namesake. The mind of Christ changes who we are down to the subatomic level because it changes what we are governed by. No longer governed by the temporal. No longer governed by the natural. But governed by the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus.
This life transforms the natural temporal state into an eternal one and is the entry point to the possession of all things in the kingdom of Heaven. We become possessors of the riches of Christ for the sake of Jesus and for the sake of all creation; fully endowed by God and fully ordained by His Spirit as flame-filled ambassadors in full agreement with and in full representation of the King, His kingdom, His ways, His Word, His world and His purpose.
Glorious increase and expanse is the nature of His government and it is carried on the shoulders of His people into all eternity. These people are the ones who leave the temporal for the eternal, being transformed as they embrace the mind of Jesus.
