As We Go

Hell wants to burn down our house. But the destruction only comes if fear and intimidation can cause us to yield to demonic schemes and desires. Therefore, we can never allow fear and intimidation to take on a place of influence in our lives. The intimidation and fear are set in place as a gate and a door to prevent us from bringing the life, purpose, and power of Jesus to bear in the earth. The gates of hell cannot prevail against us, but we must kick in the door and plunder his house if we want to do the will of God in the earth. When Jesus sent out the seventy two to proclaim and bring evidence that the kingdom of God was at hand, they returned in joy that the demons were subject to them. Jesus replied that he saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. This is not a historical reference, but a real time observation that hell was being plundered as they went.

In our going, we bring down dark rulers and powers from their attempted coup against the kingdom of heaven. In our going He goes forth and brings life and immortality to light. And in the light of His dawning day, our lives are established and His kingdom brings the dominance of His death and resurrection to bear for all creation.
